Total WBC Count:
WBC- White Blood cells are an important element of the blood for constructing a strong immune system of the body. If white blood cells increased or decreased than normal level, it would indicate the sign of many health issues. Total WBC count (Leukocyte Count) measures all types of white blood cells to detect Immune diseases, Inflammation, and allergic issues.
CLINICAL INFORMATION :
This test is usually done for the medical diagnosis of certain abnormalities in WBCs such as neutropenia, aplastic anemia, infections, etc. This test is suggested in patients with symptoms such as body aches, fever, chills, headaches, fatigue, shortness of breath, etc. Other associated tests include flow cytometers and Neubauer counting chamber.
